I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined as a faculty member for Give Back Yoga University, a new virtual campus where you can access talks, classes, and workshops on how to bring the therapeutic benefits of yoga practices to individuals facing illness and hardship. I’m offering a lecture called ‘Enlightened Sleep: The Power of Yoga Nidra’ on December 17th at 11AM MST. I hope you’ll join me!

Give Back Yoga University is your opportunity to connect directly with yoga nonprofits, researchers, and world-renowned teachers on the greatest questions facing our industry. The faculty include experts from nonprofit organizations, public sector institutions, and academia.

But what makes Give Back Yoga University remarkable is that it’s also a platform to raise funds for not-for-profit yoga projects, which need our support now more than ever. Every dollar we raise through the platform will go directly to help bring yoga to people in prisons, hospitals, and community care centers.

As a nonprofit organization, the Give Back Yoga Foundation has been working to bring yoga to people facing illness and hardship for the past thirteen years. They offer yoga mats, small grants, and continuing education to teachers leading not-for-profit yoga projects. They also have five Legacy Programs that serve people facing addiction, cancer, eating disorders, incarceration, and post-traumatic stress (respectively).

I’m honored to be presenting alongside renowned teachers such as Beryl Bender Birch, Sat Bir Khalsa, Elena Brower, and Amy Wheeler.
