Juliet Alden

Level 2 Certified ParaYoga Teacher and RYT 500 Minneapolis, MN USA

Juliet originally moved to Minneapolis in 1997 to join an experimental theater company, Margolis Brown. After performing, teaching, and training as an actor she began studying yoga once meeting her teacher, Yogarupa Rod Stryker in 2003. Since 2002, Juliet has enjoyed her time in the fitness/yoga world as an avid cyclist, yogi, Crossfitter, Senior Fitness Specialist, and personal trainer. All of her training has led to a love of teaching, coaching, and helping to light the fire of intrinsic motivation in others. Coaching and teaching to her is a beautiful blend of art and science with the added element of improvisation with her students!

As an initiate in the Himalayan Tradition since 2005, Juliet is incredibly honored, humbled, and compelled to share the richness of the teachings with her students and all she encounters. Her aim is to be a conduit and to help others experience the message from her teachers and the Himalayan sages: To become aware of the reality within and to live life fully, joyfully, and fearlessly.

Juliet has just acquired Level 2 ParaYoga certification…and is super thrilled! Juliet believes in using the physical body as the storefront – whether it be strength training, cycling or yoga asana as a means to help facilitate healing/self-realization for her clients and students. Additionally, during the pandemic Juliet began and is continuing work in social/racial justice to help her community in the aftermath of George Floyd. She is now committed to weaving the principles of Tantra throughout her life and practicing ‘Yoga as skill in action’.

She currently teaches workshops, teacher training modules, and drop-in weekly classes. She can also be found on Zoom teaching fun, HITT style workouts! Visit: www.nolimitsfitnessyoga.com for more details. Juliet is also interested and available to work with clients privately, addressing their needs holistically.
