“Through my practice I’ve gained physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength & wellbeing. But, of all the benefits I’ve gained, ParaYoga brings me joy in life, steadiness in mission, peace of mind and the greatest of friends. To have these gifts is most helpful in challenging moments. This is why I teach; my intention is to share the power that yoga has to heal, transform, sustain and connect. The whole world grows stronger one individual, one practice and one sangha at a time.“
Hollace was certified ParaYoga Level I in 2012, a senior student of Yogarupa Rod Stryker, she has been practicing and studying yoga for nearly 20 years. Extensive studies in different styles and approaches to yoga give her a well-rounded background to draw and teach from. She completed basic certification in Kripalu yoga in 2005 with Yoganand Michael Carroll and prenatal yoga certification in 2006 with Stephanie Keach. Since then, she’s spent some time training and teaching power yoga. She is dedicated to the practice of ParaYoga with Yogarupa Rod Stryker for his profound ability to communicate the teachings of Tantra that touch the core of her spirit and the results she sees in her life year after year. Hollace continues to deepen her studies with Yogarupa Rod Stryker and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait at the Himalayan Institute.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in biology and a certificate in secondary science education. With deep appreciation for current scientific research and yoga techniques and philosophies, Hollace brings vast amounts of knowledge from seemingly opposing realms into sharp focus and makes them easy to understand by helping students see connections between modern science and ancient yogic practices. Her passion lies in the science and mystery of Tantra and it’s use of many modalities to access energy and harness the power of the divine, pure consciousness and supreme love.
She leads private lessons and consultations, courses, group classes and workshops and co-hosts immersions, trainings and retreats with several other remarkable ParaYogis. She is also on faculty with Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute. Hollace owns and serves as the director for Yoga Shala School for Tantra, Yoga & Ayurveda 200 & 300 Hour programs.
