Geneva began her practice of ParaYoga in 2002 when she met her teacher, Yogarupa Rod Stryker. The wisdom and practice of yoga resonate with Geneva to the core of her being and create an opportunity for continual deeper self study and awareness. Geneva considers herself a born seeker – one who has a deep desire to know. Her traveling feet brought her to live and travel throughout the Middle East, Europe and the United States continually contemplating the sacredness of life and the human experience through the people, cultures and beauty she continues to experience. As a teacher she brings her life long study of philosophy and ancient wisdom into practical experience and exploration. She commits herself and her teaching to the study and exploration of the self through the practice of Tantra Hatha yoga, emphasizing self awareness and the sacred in all experiences. She began teaching internationally in 2005 and has taught wherever her feet have taken her to students of all ages and backgrounds. Certified in ParaYoga, Geneva continues to write, travel and offer the light and wisdom of ParaYoga and her lineage both in private and public classes, workshops, festivals and retreats. Geneva is a continuing contributor to online resources and blogs that focus on the totality of practice. Her focus on the capacity of the practices and teachings of the Four Desires and the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras infuses her practice and life. She continues to extensively study with Yogarupa Rod Stryker and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, is a certified ParaYoga teacher and registered 500 hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.
