The Path of Fire and Light: A Yoga Retreat in the Bavarian Countryside with Rod Stryker and Elena Brower

Registration is open for this event!

Yoga leads to ultimate freedom and fulfillment. The yoga tradition outlines two paths that lead to its final goals: the path of knowledge (Light) and the path of power (Fire). Knowledge is clear seeing, the gift of a still mind and the ability to perceive our self and our world completely. Power is limitless creative energy, the vital force of spirit that enables us to be and to become.

On the yogic path of fire and light, we celebrate both knowledge and power. This retreat will give us the time to practice using the body (asana), the breath (pranayama) and the mind (meditation) in order to experience the breadth of yoga’s vision, and promise of ultimate freedom and fulfillment.

Opening and closing classes will be co-taught by Yogarupa and Elena together. Each day, Yogarupa will teach one class, either morning or afternoon, and Elena will teach the other.

Expect two evening programs, one to harness our power, and the other to learn and refine our light.
