The Four Desires: Live Your Soul’s Purpose

Online | Livestreams on Tuesdays January 23, 30 & February 6 1:30-2:45PM MT

How can we best navigate today’s challenges? The answers and guidance we seek, when it comes to living with meaning and purpose, freedom and fulfillment are timeless. The underlying aim of yoga practice is two-fold: one, know the enduring peace that is your soul and two, be guided by it as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and determination. The Four Desires is a course that takes you to the culmination of where these two aims merge: life is a reflection of the fullness and living authentically from your soul.

Based on the book of the same title, The Four Desires is a powerful and transformative process informed by the most essential teachings of yogic wisdom. For anyone aspiring to embody the teachings while meeting the challenges that we all encounter along the way, this course will show you the way.

Step by step, you will be led into specific meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation) practices, guided personal exploration and self-inquiry to help you clarify and, most importantly ensure that you act, guided by your soul’s unique purpose. By the time you have completed the course, you will have greater clarity, a vibrant sense of purpose as well as the confidence and trust to meet every moment. You will have stepped into what the author George Bernard Shaw described as: “The true joy of life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being a force of nature…”

As you progress through The Four Desires Workbook during the course you will:

– Uncover your soul’s unique blueprint, the purpose you came into this world to fulfill
– Answer your life’s most critical questions, according to the yoga tradition
– Be led through a step-by-step process of self-inquiry so that you feel directed and inspired––no matter your circumstances
– Learn to identify and then use your non-constructive patterns to propel you toward your most authentic life

This 25-hour course consists of:

– Access to The Four Desires workbook
– 15+ hours of pre-recorded lessons
– Weekly emails to help guide you through the process
– Three live-stream Q&A/ discussion sessions

The Four Desires is based on the ancient insight that your soul has four distinct desires:

Dharma—the desire for purpose, the drive to become who you are meant to be
Artha—the desire for the means (health, security, finances) to prosper materially
Kama—the desire for pleasures like intimacy, beauty, and love
Moksha—the desire for spiritual fulfillment and lasting freedom

This course allows you to learn at your own pace and still have access to three live-stream Q+A/ discussion sessions with Rod. Participants will have 6-week access to the stream-only recordings of the entire course.
