All that has been described about the culmination of spiritual practice can be found in the yoga tradition’s teachings and practices on the heart. In short, the ancient wisdom revels in the heart as the abode of both Self and Creator––the very place where the two become one. As the singular source of incomparable joy and wholeness, the heart is the fountainhead of healing as well as inner guidance and the source by which self-mastery is unlocked.

In times of so much confusion, grief, sadness, uncertainty and anger, the heart is the abode you must enter if you are to rise above the fray, live with the greatest freedom and enjoy the “highest fortune.” Indeed, the heart lights the path to healing, innate wisdom and worldly success; it will forever remain the final destination for the spiritual seeker. However, its full scope and all that it offers is revealed in stages, veils that are removed in the process of more and more self-discover.

Join Yogarupa Rod Stryker for this most illuminating and important event, a time to settle into your heart of hearts and, drawing from its great wisdom, shine its curative light into the world and thereby establish yourself on the path of unalloyed freedom from all grief and sorrow.  This is the path to lasting happiness, meaning and purpose.

This deeply experiential retreat will truly be a journey of transformation and self-illumination, led by a master guide and teacher. Throughout your time with Yogarupa you’ll be guided progressively through the stages of unveiling your heart’s sublime nature. Drawing from the vision and wisdom of complementary yogic traditions and practices (including: Samkhya, The Yoga Sutra, Upanishads, Tantra and Sri Vidya), you will explore the heart’s unique gifts, enabling you to:

  • Abide in Unconditional Joy
  • Live from the Heart’s Innate Virtues
  • Find and Remain Calm in the Midst of Turmoil
  • Cultivate the Qualities of Happiness, Non-Judgment, Compassion and Authenticity
  • Gain Emotional Health and Well Being
  • Dissolve Grief
  • Awaken the Eight Unique Powers of the Heart
  • Achieve Mastery Over Mind
  • Access the Highest Light of Insight
  • Tap into Inner Guidance, Intuition and Wisdom
  • Realize a Life of the “Highest Fortune”

This five-day immersion is designed for all sincere seekers (some yoga experience is recommended), dedicated yoga practitioners as well as aspiring or experienced yoga teachers. Each day will weave lecture and practice, meditation as well as asana, pranayama, and meditation, contemplative and self-reflection practices.

As a participant, you will leave with treasured experiences and invaluable insights, along with sacred and practical tools that will forever change how you see yourself and your life. After these five days, having accessed your heart’s guiding light, you will come to rest in the certainty that you are never alone, you are always being guided and that any struggle can be resolved by knowing the great truths that reside within your own heart.
