Tantra Yoga Vinyasa––Mastering Mind, Energy and Soul
Friday Full Day Workshop, 9am – 4:30pm

In this all-day intensive, we explore the progression of hatha practice as outlined by the ancient tradition––Moon, Sun and Fire. This model illumines a systematic approach, a three-step process to unlock the power, spirit and holistic potential of practice. In addition, this approach provides a foundation for understanding how and what to practice as well as prescribing practices, depending on your or your students’ needs. Through theory and practice, we outline each of these stages and their corresponding methods and approaches, thus mapping the journey to the ultimate realization of yoga. All dedicated students are welcome. The day will include three practices, highlighting each of the approaches that allow us to master moon, sun, and fire––mind, energy and soul.

Kundalini Vinyasa: Bridge to Spirit
Saturday 2 Hour AM Class, 11am – 1pm

According to the ancient teachings of Tantra, the abdominal center is the seat of your power and healing potential. In this experience-based class you will be guided through a dynamic practice in order to access potency, vitality and the source of nurturance. Rooted in principles that are outlined in traditional hatha yoga texts, the practice will illuminate the essential teaching on how to build and contain vital force at the navel center. Some key theory will shed light on this approach to practice, and will lead into a deepening practice that features asana, bandha, mudra, chanting and meditation.

The Tantra of Meditation
Saturday 2 Hour PM Class, 3:30 – 5:30pm

Meditation is the path to the pinnacle of yoga. Tantra’s approach to meditation is widely varied, offering unique approaches as well as tried and true methods, all of which make it as practical as it is far-reaching, as systematic as it is sublime. Through practice, theory and discussion we explore the richness and diversity of the tantric tradition’s approach to meditation. During the course you will be guided into three distinct practices, providing you first-hand experience and insight into its diversity and processes. You will learn about the four principle intentions of meditation and the practices that provide access to each; you’ll experience the three stages of practice and their corresponding “sites” in the body. You will learn how to advance and shape your practice to fulfill your individual needs or the needs of your students. All levels welcome. Props recommended: a blanket or meditation cushion

Chakra Vinyasa: From Detox to Freedom
Sunday 2 Hour AM Class, 8 – 10am

Tantric Hatha Yoga maps a complete journey, from purification to spiritual awakening. In this class we cover the entire spectrum, focusing on the tradition’s most essential teaching on mastering both the inner and outer universe. We’ll churn the body to stoke vital force and then access a vision of the highest. In addition to asana, bandha, and mudra, there’ll be some chanting as well as kriya and tantric meditation techniques.

The Yoga of Fulfillment
Sunday Half-Day Workshop
Philosophy, Discussion and Journaling Exercises
2 – 5:30pm

Fulfilling your unique destiny is more precious and more important than any other endeavor, according to the ancient teachings. The Yoga tradition provides incredible insight into the process for achieving a life of true happiness and success. According to the ancient tradition, a life of real meaning and purpose is realized only after you know the answers to your life’s most vital questions and then, become courageous enough to live those answers. This is the subject matter of Rod’s book, The Four Desires. In this session, Rod will outline a practical and powerful approach to truly embodying the highest principles of Yoga, providing the key teachings for achieving spiritual as well as worldly fulfillment. Through discussion and journaling exercises, you will touch upon finding your soul’s purpose, the keys to happiness, the spiritual principles of shaping destiny and achieving lasting freedom. All levels welcome.
