This 4-session series is intended to help ensure that previous Four Desires participants experience lasting change and thus, truly benefit from the course. Through regular meetings over the course of 40 days while integrating new processes of self-reflection and feedback, we’ll increase the likelihood that you will successfully become firmly established in your new cognitive and behavioral patterns––your Sva Dharma.
The centerpiece of the revised and enhanced ETFD program will now include a personal, one-on-one meeting between Rod and each individual in the program. Enrollment will be limited to 20 participants. Thus, in addition to providing you and an opportunity to deeply reflect, and improve, upon the work you did during the course…
Your private session will also provide you with personal pranayama, meditation and/or yoga nidra guidance. During your individual session, Rod will recommend specific practice(s) for you based on your needs in the larger context of your life, as well as TFD, i.e., that address your vikalpa(s) as well as the dictates of your Dharma Code. The result will be that you will come away with both clarity about your process with TFD as well as a personal practice.
The one-on-one 50-minute private meetings will take place either before or during the 6-week ETFD program, depending on individual scheduling.
As it has in the past, ETFD features additional exercises from the workbook as well as new assignments and opportunities for further reflection, some of which is completely new content.
The four meetings take place over 40 days, instead of 3 weeks. Research makes it clear that we need at least 40 days of practicing a new pattern before it becomes firmly established. Also, you will be asked to partner with someone in the group to track one another’s progress between our livestream sessions.
We will meet online on the following dates: October 2, 13, 30, and November 6 1:30-2:45pm MT. The sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend “live.”
In addition to your one-on-one session with Rod, your regular check-ins with a “Dharma Buddy,” we will again be utilizing the Circle platform to ensure that the entire group has an opportunity to continue to generate momentum and to support one another in the spirit of serving Dharma.
