We recommend that you either attend a workshop led by Rod or one of his senior teachers. Once you know that you want to deepen your study of ParaYoga, we suggest you take a five day training with Rod from the ParaYoga Foundation Tier. There are nine, five day trainings categorized in four tiers in the ParaYoga system. You can read about the trainings and tiers here.
The next step is to apply for enrollment in the PYMT program and commit to your own excellence.
Submit Your Enrollment Application
All students are strongly encouraged to apply for enrollment in the PYMT program by submitting an Enrollment Application (this new PYMT Enrollment Application takes the place of the former application). We encourage you to apply whether or not you are interested in becoming a certified ParaYoga teacher, are interested in deepening your yoga practice and study, or are simply interested in studying with Rod. This application can be submitted once you have completed your first PYMT or, at the latest, before your fourth PYMT. We encourage everyone, regardless of the reason for participating in the program, to take this important step!

While enrollment in the program is not mandatory for participation in the program, it is required to submit any and all of the necessary coursework needed for certification. However, officially enrolling in the program has its benefits even for those who are not interested in being a ParaYoga certified teacher.
Once your enrollment application has been received, you will be officially enrolled in the PYMT program. At this point, all your coursework and personal practice requirements can be regularly submitted (as required under the guidelines for certification) and will be kept on file at ParaYoga’s office.
The ParaYoga Essentials CD
Once we have received your Enrollment Application and the accompanying fee of $150 you will be sent a CD, which will include Rod leading each of the six ParaYoga Blueprint Practices, along with two of ParaYoga’s most essential meditation practices and the systemic approach to mantra meditation, along with tracks for learning the Gayatri, Maha Mritunjaya, and ParaShakti (ParaYoga) Mantras.
We are very excited about this “Best Of” compilation, which will allow you to practice at home and thus enable you to steep yourself in the practices that are the centerpieces of ParaYoga. Practicing these consistently, and if appropriate, teaching them regularly (based upon the needs of those whom you teach), fosters your grasp of ParaYoga principles and prepares you to truly embody the curriculum––whether or not you are pursuing certification. As stated earlier, being officially enrolled in the program will mean that all your coursework and personal practice requirements can be regularly submitted (as required under the guidelines for certification). These submissions will be kept on file at ParaYoga's office.
Enrolling in the program, we believe, will give us at ParaYoga an opportunity to get to know you in greater depth and much earlier in the process, and to provide you with the support necessary to assist you to grow and evolve into the teachings.

Do I need to be a teacher or an aspiring teacher to participate in the PYMT?
