Excellence. That one word describes the essence of ParaYoga®. Every step in the development of the ParaYoga Master Training (PYMT) has been informed by it. Appreciation for excellence, combined with two simple desires, has been the driving force that shaped the entire program. The first of these desires was to honor the wisdom and breadth of the spiritual tradition of the Vedas––the source of Yoga; the second was to give today’s yoga practitioners the chance to practice and/or share the power of these extraordinary teachings. Both desires aspire to the reward that comes from living with excellence.

Everything about the PYMT––the course curriculum, reading assignments, practices, course requirements, prerequisites and the thoroughness of the testing process––reflects an intention to instill the quality of excellence in all those who come into contact with ParaYoga® and particularly those who teach it. As a result, becoming a Certified ParaYoga® Teacher requires time, commitment, and the passion necessary to be and to share the best of oneself.
Whether you are studying ParaYoga® for personal enrichment or are interested in becoming a certified teacher, we encourage you to submit your Enrollment Application and officially enroll in the PYMT program. Once you have completed your application and submitted the accompanying $75 fee and a headshot (in digital format), all your coursework and personal practice requirements can be regularly submitted (as required under the guidelines for certification) and will be kept on file at ParaYoga®’s office. Your application will give us the opportunity to get to know you in greater depth and provide you with the tools and support necessary to assist you to grow and evolve into the teachings.
