Dedicated ParaYoga practitioners who are not professional yoga teachers can pursue designation as ParaYoga® Ambassadors. This designation is for individuals who practice sincerely and deeply over a long period of time and desire both to embody ParaYoga® and to transmit it to others, though they are not actively teaching yoga in the usual sense. ParaYoga® Ambassadors are not certified to teach ParaYoga® classes or lead ParaYoga® workshops, but they bring the teachings of ParaYoga® into their professional and life circles informally.
The prerequisites and process for applying for designation as a ParaYoga Ambassador are the same as those for ParaYoga® Level II Certified Teachers, except that no teaching history is required and no teaching video must be submitted. In addition, those applying for designation as ParaYoga Ambassadors should express in an essay or an interview with Rod why they desire this designation and how they intend to use it in guiding others in the spirit and lineage of ParaYoga®.
